Choose PEC Solid Squares for Achieving Exact Right Angles. If accuracy in measurements is of prime importance to you, PEC's machinist squares are the right solution for you. The solid square sets provide true right angles both inside and outside with a squareness accuracy of 0.0006 inches. They are made of high-quality hardened stainless steel that prevents them from bending, and the blade and the beam are precision ground to provide the best finish and smooth handling. The blades are available in lengths of 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, and 24 inches. The length of these blades is calculated from the inner edge to the end of the blade. The beam lengths of these squares are 1-1/2, 2-1/2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 inches. You can also avail of a solid square set (model #7000-S-4) that comprises 2, 3, 4, and 6-inch blade-length squares. This model comes with all four square pieces supplied in a well-fitted case. Their beam lengths are 1-1/2, 2-1/2, 3, and 4 inches, respectively. PEC machinist's squares have a rugged steel blade that is fixed on a beam at a 90-degree (right) angle. These precision squares come with an industry-standard design and are provided with a small notch at the very inside corner. The notch is for preventing small particles from piling up at the corner, which may affect the squareness of the tool in the long run. These solid squares can be used by machinists, metalworkers, carpenters, and other professionals to mark or reference 90-degree angles on different workpieces. With this solid square, you won't require any other tool to check whether two surfaces are perpendicular to each other as this tool is simple and easy to use. Also, you can use it to check the squareness of machine components.
·Complete with molded, fitted case
