Nikcole Mini-Systems is a series of unique mini-cutting tools for special applications including narrow grooving, threading, turning, copying, and an economical means of cut-off in a wide variety of materials. Mini-systems are specially-shaped parallelogram inserts made up of carbide. Nikcole offers these inserts in C6-PV grade, making them versatile on a wide range of workpiece materials. The compatible tool holder has only one positive locking insert screw and a unique insert pocket design that assures a repeatable cutting edge location. They provide two cutting edges on one insert and are available in extremely narrow widths 0.035 inch, 0.043 inch, 0.051 inch, 0.063 inch, & 0.073 inch. Various assortments are made of PVD / TiAlN + TiN carbide grades. All tools under the mini-system series are manufactured under ISO 9001.
