Linear Precision Inspection Block Levels from E.D.A. Use Precision Inspection Block Levels over plain spirit levels for better accuracy. The E.D.A. inspection level is a truly American product and available in two sizes: 8 inches 12 inches level sizes having a sensitivity of 0.0001-0.0005 inches or 2-10 seconds of arc. The main glass vial is adjustable to a positive setting for accurate results and seated on a stabilized cast iron base for durability. The vial seatings are hardened and ground for 140, 200 and 300mm base lengths. The base of precision levels have a grooved base for measurement on flat surfaces and cylinders. Cross vial and main vial are easily adjustable. The adjustable vials are fastened without sealing to prevent stress and deformation. Vials are filled with high-grade mineral oil to resist thermal expansion and contraction and excessive bubbles. The bubbles inside the vials always settle at the highest point and the well-marked indicators help to quickly determine the flatness of any surface. High performances are achieved using E.D.A. precision inspection block levels with regards to stability of sensitivity and tuning; preservation of the accuracy of the base seatings which are hardened and ground and easy replacement of vials, high performance. EDA is a previous trademark of DUCOURRET. The company has been in the manufacturing of precision measuring tools, metrology and testing equipment/software. Industry prefers EDA precision levels because of its clear visibility of measurements. Short stabilization delay of the bubble position. Precision ground for accurate seatings. Closely monitored manufacturing process. Packed in a quality foam-lined case.
Maximum clarity of the bubbles

Benefits

  • These levels are designed for the easy and simple use of high sensitivity vials.
  • Levels are company-tested to withstand extreme climates and harsh conditions.
  • Short stabilization delay of the bubble position.
  • An engineer's precision level permits greater accuracy than a plain spirit level.
  • The level remains safe to use even in the event that it is damaged.
  • In addition to the durability of the cast iron base, the precision-machined ground contributes significantly to the level's accuracy.

Applications

The ideal high precision level to measure inclinations.
