Designed to machine soft materials such as aluminum, magnesium and zinc alloys. Used for slot and pocket milling, as well as plunge cutting.Features
- Have a sinusoidal chipbreaker form which produces small chips, allowing them to be run at faster feed rates than conventional tools, resulting in high chip removal.
- Prevents chip packing and the high helix angle provides positive shearing action and rapid chip evacuation.

- Produces a rough finish which usually requires a finishing pass with a conventional tool.
