- Vise chemically "passivated" using 10% nitric acid plus 2% hydrofluoric acid bath to en chance the development of "passive" oxides.
- Able to withstand corrosive action of various acids.
- Main screw has a coarse-pitch thread for fast action.
- Replaceable 303 stainless steel nut prevents scruffing.
