Each K Series Kennedy lock-and-key set consists of one lock and two keys made of steel. The locks come in KEN001 to KEN200 key/lock numbers, among which KEN047, KEN125, and KEN151 are not available. Also called a circle pin tumbler lock or radial lock, this tubular replacement lock and key set functions based on the 7-pin tumbler method, wherein seven pins of different lengths are placed radially inside the lock to prevent opening if the exact notch placement by the key is not achieved. Tubular pin tumbler locks are generally more safer and secure than standard locks, and also, they consume less space. Whereas, the no-cam tubular lock can effectively be used for #2602, #2603, #2604, #2902, and #5150 model basic chests, roller cabinets of sizes 27", 29" and 34", hang-on models, and also for maintenance carts of sizes 44", 53", and 58". It replaces the 80844 standard lock type.
