Just place an object or part on the comparator's surface illumination stage, and its image is then magnified and projected onto the round frosted glass viewing screen. Complex lenses and powerful tungsten halogen lighting ensure excellent clarity and brilliance. Whether it's a simple profile you're after or an in-depth metrological and surface detail analysis, this 14" optical comparator allows you to compare and measure the part against preset data parameters. You can now examine parts at various stages of production to ensure they consistently conform to your shop's quality standards. Close inspection and magnification may also be used to determine the amount of wear and tear in working parts. A long-life tungsten halogen bulb is included. Customize the optical comparator to your particular application with optional accessories.
