The gages provide Inch/Metric/Fractions readings on a large digital display with a resolution of 0.0005 inch (.01mm), fractions in 1/64" increments, and accuracy of ±0.0015 inch. Besides, all the rods come in a standard diameter of 0.176 inches. All the models in this range offer a ratchet thimble and a locking clamp for taking precise measurements. By sliding the sleeve, the rod can be lowered to the bottom of the hole that you need to measure, and then, the rod has to be locked by the locking clamp.
