Combo Drill & Countersinks
Combination Drills & Countersinks are short, double-ended drills used to produce a shallow conical or center hole, typically on the end of workpiece to be held between centers before turning in a lathe or cylindrical grinding. Stubby double-ended design provides excellent rigidity for dependability and reduced downtime. Bell type center drills produce a 120 degree chamfer which protects the edges of a 60 degree center hole from breaking down under high temperatures, protecting tooling & reducing downtime. Long reach and metric models are available, as well as solid carbide center drills for stainless steel.
