Customer Service Representative

DUTIES: Will process customer sales orders and assist customers with various problems while ensuring the highest level of customer service. Field telephone calls and fulfill customers request. Additionally, will up-sell and focus on customer relationship building. Will need to exercise proper judgment with orders. Multi-tasking. Qualified candidates should be organized, and possess excellent communication and sales skills. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Internet required. Bilingual Spanish and French fluency highly preferred.

Warehouse Associate

DUTIES: Will be responsible for various duties associated with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory and replenishment as needed. This position requires associates to walk and stand for several hours at a time. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. Candidates should be efficient and reliable. Accounting Office Assistant

DUTIES:A preferred supplier to the metalworking and industrial markets worldwide is currently seeking an Accounting Office Assistant. If you are a detailed-oriented, analytical, team player who would like to join a family-owned business (located in Queens) this opportunity is for you! As an Accounting Office Assistant, you will be responsible for Accounting functions including but not limited to:

  • High volume invoice processing weekly 500+
  • Match invoices to receivers and purchase orders
  • General ledger coding and approval verification of each invoices and expenses reports
  • Prepare weekly check run includes printing and mailing checks
  • Assist with month end close of accounts payable
  • Assist with any projects or additional tasks that may arise
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Job Requirements:
  • EDUCATION: Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent and/or college preferred
  • EXPERIENCE: Entry Level (1-2 years of experience)
  • WORK STATUS: *Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
The successful candidate for this role will have 1-2 years of accounting experience. Associate Degree or equivalent accounting working experience required. He or she must have technical skills, especially with Excel (pivot table, v-lookups, etc.), time management skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Distributor industry experience is a plus!
