Regular Length Coarse Pitch Single End Mills for General Purpose Roughing Applications. Get excellent results with TTC's HP series of single-end roughing mills. The HP series is made from M42 cobalt for use in harsh industrial conditions. 8% Cobalt is added to increase the overall tool hardness. These single-end roughing mills are being offered in 4-piece sets of roughing end mills of sizes: 1/2 inches to 1 inches and supplied in wooden block. These end mills are available in multiple flutes (3/4/5), round profile with a 30-degree helix angle. The tool characteristic is center cutting and used for side milling, peripheral, and slotting. The lower 30-degree helix angle wraps the tool slowly and improves the chip evacuation rate. Excellent results can be observed on ferrous & non-ferrous workpiece with these roughing end mills.
